Showcasing the fast-paced development of the United Arab Emirates with multi-language DVDs, interactive books and a companion website.

Published on behalf of the National Media Council of the United Arab Emirates, the UAE Yearbook is an annual publication showcasing the heritage and development of the United Arab Emirates. We worked with Trident Press to design and develop DVD companions to the yearbooks, allowing users to explore the past, present and future of the country through evocative films, interactive quizzes and stand-alone digital exhibits.

The UAE Yearbook transitioned into a fully digital offering in 2010 and we worked to deliver an animated, interactive version of the yearbook, along with a companion DVD and an integrated, content-managed website — all translated into six languages.

We designed and developed standalone interactive exhibits which were also featured on the UAE Interact website. The interactive Virtual Museum allowed users to experience some of the UAE’s most precious ancient artifacts, A Walk Through Time explored the history and heritage of the UAE, and some of the indigenous fauna of the UAE starred in Animal Facts.
